 FOR
SUCH A TIME AS THIS
For there is a
Time - a time which has been established in the heavens,
long before the world was brought into life by the
Creator. And such a time is now! Our people will no
longer hear talk but see action. Come Creator come! Come
rule over us! Come heal us! Shout over us! And go before
us!
He
who has ears to hear should listen and understand what
the Spirit is saying!
PRAYERS
FROM US TO THE MOST HIGH
Oh
Great Spirit, that you
would burst out from the heavens and come down! Oh how
our lands would quake in holy fear of your presence! As
fire causes wood to burn and the water to boil, your
coming down would make the nations tremble. Then our
enemies would learn the reason for your Glory! For when
you came down long ago, you did awesome things beyond
our wildest imaginations. For since the beginning world,
no eyes have seen, and no ears have heard a God like you
that works for those who patiently wait for you! You
welcome those who search you out and do good, who follow
your
Great Spirit’s
voice.
But we are not
holy. We are stained in sin, so your anger is heavy upon
us. How can people like us be saved? We are crippled
with our sins. When we proudly display our good works,
we find they are like filthy rags. We are all like
fallen leaves, withered and dried up. And our sins are
like the winds. They blow us away from your presents.
Yet none of us calls on your name “Kchi
- Manitou” or pleads for
your mercy. So, you look away from us and turned us over
to our overwhelming troubles.
Yet you, our
Creator, are our true
Grandfather. We are formed
by your hands. Oh, don’t stay angry with us forever.
Please don’t remember our sins forever. Look at us; we
are praying to you this day, seeking your face, we are
your people. The whole world is yours and everything in
it.
Look it -
Grandfather, we have
gathered together to hear from you! Only you can open
our eyes and unplug our ears, so we can see and hear
what your
Great Spirit wants to
reveal to us. Look can you see - your people who have
been called here by your name, stand humbled and seeking
your face. We commit ourselves to turning away from our
wicked ways. Come heal our families, our nations, and
our lands!
We will tell of
your mighty works here to our children and their
children’s children. Promise us
Great Spirit that your
Spirit will not leave us or them, and neither will these
words you have given us. We pray that they will be on
our lips and on the lips of our children and our
children’s children forever. We put our trust in you and
you alone! Come rule us, Come be our Chief.
PROMISES FROM
THE HEAVENS
Our
Creator’s Great Spirit is
sending his message to our lands: “Tell all his people,
‘Look, your Savior is coming. See, he brings his rewards
with him.’ When you see these things, your heart will
rejoice. Your joy will be overflowing, your health
restored! Everyone will see your
Creator’s
favor on his people.
The
Great Spirit says, “I can
see what other nations have done to you, and I know what
they are thinking. So I will, come and rule my people;
leading them to my crystal clear waters. Come, come and
drink! I will let them live in peace and prosperity as
they obey my voice and follow me. And I will let them
enjoy living in their lands as they did long ago. For my
people are safe when the warriors that guard the camps
fear me, their Chief and the Council seeks
Me
for wisdom.
For a time will
come, when I will gather all nations and peoples
together, and they will see my glory. I will perform
signs among them. “Yes, I the
Great Spirit will do mighty
miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued my
people from slavery in Egypt during the days of Moses,
my Holy-man.”
All the nations
of the world will stand amazed at what I the
Creator Most High will do
for you. They will be embarrassed that their power is
like nothing, nothing at all. They will stand in silent
awe, deaf to everything around them. They will come to
realize what shallow creatures they really are. Like
snakes crawling from their pits, they will come out to
meet me, their
Creator. They will fear me
greatly, trembling in terror in my presence.
I will send
those who survive to be my messengers to the nations
here and to all the lands beyond the sea that have not
heard of my fame or seen my glory yet. There they will
declare my glory to these nations. They will boast about
me to the remnants of my people and bring them back from
every tribe, language, people and nations. “And I will
appoint some of those who return to me to be my
Holy-men. I, the
Great Spirit, have spoken!
