Forgiveness is spiritual. Understanding the
significance of this necessity, we choose to
impart forgiveness through the love of the
Father and Creator God. This will be our key to
unlock greater doors of healing and freedom.
Two years ago Prime Minister Harper apologized
for the abuses many people experienced in
residential schools in Canada. From June
11-13th, First Peoples are gathering to release
forgiveness. The churches in Canada are standing
with us. Come and join us as we respond and
celebrate the freedom that forgiveness brings.

Jerusalem House of Indigenous Peoples is a
residence of indigenous tribal leaders
visiting Jerusalem. It also serves as a
house of prayer and as a center of
diplomatic representation for tribal
nations.

Congratulations Joe. A. Ross School of Opaskwayak
Cree Nation
Joe
A. Ross School of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation has
taken the challenge set forth by Principal Derek
Fontaine. Derek has always been involved in the
community by providing the students of Joe A.
Ross opportunities to reach their potential in
hockey and goals they set for themselves to
succeed. When we approached Derek about the
possibility of Joe A. Ross sponsoring a school
in Rwanda, his response was immediate and very
positive. He talked to his staff and convinced
45 people to contribute to an orphanage for the
whole school year. That means on each payday
they give anywhere from $ 5.00 to $ 20.00 per
pay check. This may not seem like much to us but
to the people of Rwanda it is a question of
whether or not a child can get an education.
Through this giving there is a school in Rwanda,
called “Hope for Tomorrow” school and with the
generous giving of Joe A. Ross they are able to
provide the children of the area of Kigali an
education which otherwise would be out of reach.
Thank you Joe A. Ross,
From all of us at Northern Connections.
