We were privileged to be able to visit both
Children's hospitals and Hospitals caring for
those who fell victim to the conflict of Israel |

Many friends were made through the privileges of
visiting these hospitals and we hope to continue
our relationships with all those we met |
|

We were so blessed to be granted the privilege
to share a meal with members of the Israeli Army
at Mount Herman. |
Our visit also included stops with local
schools. The children were just fantastic. We
love you all! |

|

An unusual encounter was made with these
Nigerian brothers by the Dead Sea when we
discovered a kinship in spirit. An invitation
was given to visit their country afterwards.
|
We also bumped into a Navajo brother in Tel Aviv
who joined us on the drum at Esther House. |
Traditional Grass Dancer Guy Molin had a big
effect on the children in all the schools we
visited |

The City of
Sderot
When protocoling the city
official on the “balcony” overlooking the
Gaza Strip, he shared,
“To
come to a people in their weakness and say
'we are here for you' is beyond human
expression. It is an expression of the
soul. No place is too far and you have
proved it. When it’s colder outside, people
are warmer inside.”
Councillor Maureen Brown’s words, from the Cree
Nation, to the official,
“We
come to stand with you and to say God will not
abandon you but come swiftly.”
Sderot is a small town, 23,000 residents, in
great crisis. The city is experiencing attacks
from the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as well
as high unemployment. Fear is strong in the
city. In the past month (prior to the trip) the
city had been hit by missile attack at least 5-6
times every day, totalling over 600 missiles.
Seven people had been killed. The first killed
were a man and child. The man was picking the
child up from kindergarten and they were struck
by a rocket in the street. Though the fear is
great, this city holds the people’s roots.
Terror can achieve nothing but fear. They will
not leave. Through Jesus’ anointing, he broke
the forces of darkness. The coming of the Inuit
and Cree is to break the forces of darkness upon
this land and to bring the anointing of joy.
